Tuesday 23 September: As world leaders prepare for this week's UN Summit on
the Millennium Development Goals, people living in poverty and activists are
gathering on the steps of the UN Headquarters, demanding to be involved in
the decision-making that will impact their daily lives.

‘in my name’, a new song by Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am written for the Global Call to Action against Poverty (GCAP), will be launched live today at a star-studded event in New York featuring dignitaries, celebrities and activists including UN Secretary General Ban ki-Moon, Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan, Kristin Davis, Elle Macpherson, Mary Robinson, Ela Bhatt and Rahul Bose.
