We can be the generation that ends poverty

In 2000, 189 governments made the historic commitment to half extreme poverty by 2015. We are halfway to the deadline, but poverty still kills 50,000 people every day.

So it’s not surprising that some people think poverty can never be ended. It can. And you have the power to make sure it happens. Not some time in the distant future, but in our generation.

Will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas has joined the global call to action against poverty, and has written a powerful new song "in my name" demanding that governments act now.

Be part of it. Tell your leaders to act in your name to end poverty and inequality
